A.C.E. Advances Zero Wake Initiative to Address Exploitation in Gaming and Online Environments

A.C.E. — Alliance for Counter Exploitation is advancing Zero Wake as a dedicated initiative focused on detecting and preventing exploitation in gaming, online communities, and other digital environments where vulnerable people may be targeted.

June 1, 2026

Zero Wake was created around a straightforward problem: by the time harmful activity becomes obvious, significant damage may already have occurred. Its focus is therefore on identifying early warning signs, strengthening prevention, supporting professionals already working these cases, and helping connect technology with the people responsible for real-world intervention.

The initiative is developing tools and systems intended to help surface predatory behavior earlier, recognize patterns that may otherwise remain disconnected, and support investigators, safety professionals, law enforcement, platforms, and organizations working to protect vulnerable people.

Zero Wake also brings together experience from cybersecurity, intelligence, digital investigations, gaming, trafficking prevention, survivor advocacy, and public safety. Its current board includes professionals with backgrounds spanning anti-trafficking advocacy, cybersecurity, intelligence, law enforcement support, and digital investigations.

As part of A.C.E., Zero Wake can now draw upon a much broader ecosystem of intelligence, technology, autonomous systems, training, operational support, and specialized Alliance partners as requirements develop.

The objective remains the same: identify threats earlier, strengthen the people already doing the work, and help prevent exploitation before it becomes irreversible.

Specific platform functionality and operational activity remain limited from public release while development continues.
